When the communists approach you and say that they must have control of the means of production or else the sky will fall, look really closely at their premise.

A whopping 70% of the UK fuel pump price goes directly to the treasury and includes "green" taxes imposed by our (unelected) government to "ofset" global warming. The fact that the actual temperature has been falling for the past decade has only served to change the name of the alarmism under which those taxes are collected from "global warming" to "climate change".

So, if you are really interested in actually lowering the cost of fuel (and all the other products whose price is spiralling becuase of the underlying transport costs) as opposed to just pandering to the uninformed stereotype of price-gouging big-oil, you need to convince the UK government to stop wasting our money on ill conceived social experiments, disproven evironmental dogrel and hand-outs to failed states.
